Leading life insurer seeking a part-qualified pensions actuary to join their Collateral and Reinsurance Management team in London

Oliver James are pleased to be working with a leading life insurer seeking a part-qualified pensions actuary to join their Collateral and Reinsurance Management team in London.

You will focus on managing the arrangements agreed following a Defined Benefit Pension Risk Transfer deal. You will support the Actuarial Manager in providing post-sale monitoring and calculations relating to buy-in/out pricing, reinsurance, longevity insurance and collateral arrangements. You will also assist with the on-boarding of new PRT reinsurance arrangements, including reviewing, and providing comments to draft contracts and models.

Role requirements:

• Part-qualified actuary making strong progress with the actuarial exams
• Solid knowledge of Defined Benefit Pension schemes
• High attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
