Compliance Monitoring Analyst

Oliver James are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Compliance Monitoring Analyst to join a growing and thriving compliance function with a London Market Insurance firm. In this role you will work closely with the Senior Monitoring Manager to deliver the compliance monitoring plan, and make a true impact.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support in creating and delivering the compliance monitoring plan.
  • Lead or support thematic reviews to identify and assess compliance risks.
  • Conduct fact-finds and desk-based monitoring against regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Track and monitor actions to ensure timely completion.
  • Stay up to date with regulatory changes and industry best practice.
  • Contribute to the wider compliance agenda.

Key Skills:

  • Compliance experience within insurance is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, research and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and competing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Knowledge of regulatory landscapes, ideally Lloyd’s.
