HR IT Analyst

Job Title: HRIT Analyst

Location: Jersey City, NJ – hybrid onsite

Salary: $90,000 – $105,000

We’re looking for a technically savvy HRIT Production Support Analyst to play a critical role in the smooth operation of our HR systems, with a primary focus on Workday and other cloud-based (SaaS) applications. This role sits within our HR Technology team and partners closely with our outsourced services provider and internal stakeholders to deliver consistent, reliable HR tech services across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical support expert for HR applications, with an emphasis on Workday and connected systems.
  • Collaborate with our managed services provider to resolve incidents, troubleshoot issues, and maintain system health.
  • Monitor critical integrations and workflows, identifying potential risks or failures before they impact the business.
  • Provide hands-on support for system upgrades, annual HR initiatives (e.g., Open Enrollment, Year-End), and platform enhancements.
  • Act as a bridge between project teams and operations, ensuring new features and changes are smoothly transitioned into production.
  • Support the maintenance and accuracy of employee data across platforms.
  • Assist with data uploads/downloads, audits, and reporting tasks as needed.
  • Help ensure alignment of data across multiple systems.
  • Build strong working relationships with HR, IT, vendors, and external partners to ensure clear communication and effective issue resolution.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and offer effective system support.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve system performance.
  • Support initiatives focused on enhancing the employee experience, reducing operational costs, and increasing service quality.
  • Encourage the adoption of best practices and assist with process documentation and improvements.
  • Help maintain system security and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Support audits, risk assessments, and cybersecurity standards.

Skills Needed:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting HR systems, ideally in an enterprise setting.
  • Solid knowledge of Workday (core HCM, integrations, and business processes); experience with Cornerstone or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with system integrations, data flows, and basic reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; attention to detail is a must.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Awareness of data privacy, security, and audit requirements in an HR systems context.
