IT Risk Controls Analyst
Permanent – Dublin West – Hybrid (1 day on site per week)
The Role
We are seeking an IT Risk Controls Analyst to join a growing team within a global technology-focused organisation. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in strengthening IT risk and control frameworks within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain IT security controls aligned with industry standards
- Support and enhance third-party risk management frameworks and processes
- Assess, monitor, and mitigate IT and cybersecurity risks across the organisation
- Ensure alignment with relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve the overall control environment
- Contribute to continuous improvement of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) practices
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in designing and implementing security controls
- Strong knowledge of third-party risk management
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, DORA, and NIST 2
- Experience working within IT risk, controls, or cybersecurity functions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Exposure to ISO 42001 is advantageous but not essential
