PIP Claims Adjuster
Client Overview: Our client, a regional insurance carrier, is seeking a
dedicated and experienced PIP (Personal Injury Protection) Claims Adjuster to join their dynamic claims
department.
Role & Responsibilities
- Handle PIP Claims from beginning to end
- Handle Michigan Specific PIP Claims
- Negotiate settlements in an efficient and timely manner, according to company policies and procedures.
- Communicate with policyholders, physicians, and attorneys to gather information regarding claims.
- Review and interpret insurance policies to determine coverage levels and legitimacy of claims.
Key Skills
- Minimum 5 years of Michigan specific PIP Claims handling experience
- Attorney Repped claims handling experience
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail and precision in report writing and claim handling.
- Ability to work successfully remotely
This position is a fully remote role, and the salary is flexible dependent on years of experience.
