Role Overview

The Pricing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies that support the organisation’s revenue, distribution, and commercial objectives. This role leads a specialist pricing team and works closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, IT, and external partners to ensure competitive, compliant, and optimised pricing across all markets.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with commercial and revenue goals.

  • Own and manage all pricing components, including base fares, taxes and charges, fare rules, promotional activity, corporate and tour operator fares, loyalty pricing, and partner pricing.

  • Monitor competitor pricing and market dynamics, designing timely pricing responses and campaigns in collaboration with Revenue Management and Marketing teams.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Pricing Specialists, including internationally based team members.

  • Drive continuous improvement in pricing processes, controls, automation, and best practices to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.

  • Ensure adherence to internal security, governance, and audit requirements in line with group and company policies.

  • Represent the Pricing function in commercial and IT initiatives, as well as in relevant industry and technical forums (e.g. ATPCO, IATA).

Qualifications, Competencies & Experience

  • Degree in Business, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.

  • Strong knowledge of airline pricing principles, demand elasticity, and regulatory environments.

  • Highly developed commercial awareness and analytical capability, with experience using revenue management and pricing tools.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working with joint business or alliance partners and managing multi-market pricing.

  • Exposure to project management and process automation initiatives.

  • Familiarity with ATPCO and IATA pricing processes and standards.
