Overview:

We’re looking for a Senior Program Leader to drive large-scale projects, ensuring seamless execution from planning to delivery. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, overseeing program risks, and ensuring business processes are optimized. The leader will coordinate UAT, foster team development, and ensure clear communication among stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large-scale projects from inception through completion, ensuring all phases, including scope definition, resource allocation, and process redesign, are handled effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to drive the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and stakeholder requirements.
  • Manage interdependencies within the program, ensuring the various components are well-coordinated and risks are mitigated proactively.
  • Oversee the final delivery of the program, ensuring that all governance, process changes, and control mechanisms are implemented.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring smooth communication and resolution of defects using tools like JIRA.
  • Identify and assess risks, proposing and executing solutions to enhance program delivery and efficiency.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders, keeping them informed of the program’s progress, changes, and challenges.
  • Supervise both internal and external resources, fostering career development for direct reports and ensuring optimal team performance.
  • Produce regular status reports, manage the program’s risk log, and facilitate working group meetings for consistent progress tracking.
  • Work with the Governance team to maintain compliance with reporting standards and ensure all documentation is comprehensive and up-to-date.

Skills Needed:

  • Proven experience leading large, cross-functional projects, particularly in complex financial institutions. Ability to structure initiatives, plan effectively, and manage budgets.
  • Strong understanding of finance, risk management, operations, and the technologies that support these areas.
  • Expertise in managing regulatory changes and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of financial products like Loans, Derivatives, Securities, and Repurchase Agreements.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams, promoting career growth, and managing change in a dynamic environment.
  • Advanced stakeholder management experience, particularly across diverse functions and committees.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
