Responsibilities
- Design, implement and manage VMware, Nutanix and Windows Server infrastructure to ensure high availability and optimal performance
- Monitor and proactively optimize performance across VMware vSphere, Nutanix and Windows Server environments
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues
- Plan and execute system updates, patches and upgrades with minimal operational impact
- Develop and maintain clear, structured documentation of processes, procedures and configurations
- Collaborate closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to align infrastructure solutions with business objectives
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and security best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure administration and configuration
- Proven hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, Nutanix, and virtualization technologies in general
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory Domain Services and related services
- Solid understanding of networking principles and system architecture
- Experience with automation and scripting, preferably using PowerShell and Ansible (or similar tools)
- Knowledge of System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) is a plus
- Awareness of GDPR and IT security standards
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Able to work independently, under pressure, with strong analytical skills
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Work Model
- 3 days per week onsite (Diegem)
- Company intention to move towards full-time onsite work from January 2027
