About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) activities within a global commercial insurance platform. This is a true risk generalist role, combining both quantitative and qualitative risk work across underwriting, claims, reserving, operational, financial, and strategic risk areas.
This position offers broad exposure across the business and the opportunity to contribute to capital oversight, risk governance, and data-driven risk analytics in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) across underwriting, claims, finance, IT, and operations

Identify, assess, and document inherent, residual, and emerging risks and evaluate control effectiveness

Support annual Top Risk Assessments and maintain enterprise risk registers

Assist with ORSA documentation and regulatory reporting requirements

Support scenario design, stress testing, and capital impact analysis

Partner with Capital Management teams on RBC analysis, capital ratios, and drivers of change

Conduct stop-loss, retention, and reinsurance analysis

Perform stress testing and sensitivity analysis for catastrophe, operational, and loss experience scenarios

Manage risk incidents and oversee remediation tracking

Maintain loss event databases and support incident reporting processes

Develop dashboards and reporting using Power BI, Excel, and analytical tools

Automate reporting and analysis using Python, SQL, or R

Prepare materials for ERM committees, executive leadership, and Board-level reporting

Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, actuarial, finance, compliance, audit, and IT teams
What We’re Looking For

3-5+ years of experience in enterprise risk, operational risk, insurance risk, or financial risk

Experience in both quantitative and qualitative risk disciplines

Hands-on exposure to RCSAs, ORSA, incident management, and Top Risk Assessments

Understanding of capital adequacy, RBC, stress testing, and reinsurance structures

Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Proficiency in Power BI, advanced Excel, Python, SQL, or R

Bachelor’s degree required

Experience applying AI or advanced analytics tools in risk environments is a plus
