Responsibilities include rate adequacy, segmentation, CAT risk analytics, This is a high-priority hire for the business as the director will work closely with risk, underwriting, claims, and finance leadership to assist with business strategy, navigating market cycles, and support risk selection. <\/p>\n<p><strong> Essential Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluates performance and pricing of insurance and reinsurance programs and analyzes their financial impact in coordination with catastrophe risk modeling teams.<\/li>\n<li>Executes data analytics support for pricing, reserving, and modeling needs across risk and actuarial functions.<\/li>\n<li>Build complex speciality models with underwriting and claims teams to assess risk exposures and develop pricing strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Lead pricing strategy for the Property E&amp;S segment, including rate adequacy, segmentation, and portfolio steering.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and mentor a direct report, with the opportunity to grow the team as the segment scales.<\/li>\n<li>Build pricing frameworks, tools, and models to support profitable growth.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with underwriting leadership to navigate market cycles, evaluate opportunities, and support disciplined risk selection.<\/li>\n<li>Develop catastrophe modeling insights, including event level analytics, tail risk understanding, and capital impact.<\/li>\n<li>Drive innovation in pricing methodology, data usage, and portfolio analytics.<\/li>\n<li>Influence strategic decisions at the executive level in a high visibility role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> Skills, Knowledge &amp; Ability:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>10+ years of P&amp;C Actuarial experience with a minimum of four years of E&amp;S Property pricing experience with knowledge of building pricing infrastructure. <\/li>\n<li>ACAS or FCAS qualified is required <\/li>\n<li>Technical Skills: Excel, SQL, Python<\/li>\n<li>Understand of CAT modeling or CAT risk <\/li>\n<li>Ability to demonstrate management or leadership experience<\/li>\n<li>No visa sponsorship required <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/U29waGlhLlJvc3MuNzU0MTYuMTEzMDlAb2xpdmVyamFtZXNhc3NvY2lhdGVzLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As an Actuarial Director you will be responsible for leading pricing strategy for the E&amp;S property segment giving you complete oversight and management of the E&amp;S Property portfolio. They are seeking a <strong>Premium Tax Manager<\/strong> to lead premium tax compliance, statutory reporting, and process integration efforts across the combined organization.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">This is a highly visible leadership role that offers the opportunity to modernize tax processes, partner with senior leadership, and help shape the future of the tax function.
