A fantastic opportunity has arisen with an asset manager in Orange County. They are looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join a high-performing team to support with all fund related reporting.<\/span><\/div>\n

Responsibilities:<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\n
    \n
  • Prepare financial statements and assist with investor reports<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Oversee cash management for multiple funds<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Work with asset management team in closing transactions<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Assist with the annual audits and preparation of tax returns<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Respond to investor requests as they arise<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Background\/Experience<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics <\/span><\/li>\n
    • Public Accounting experience highly desirable<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experienced auditing asset management clients (private equity, venture capital, real estate etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n
    • CPA qualified\/candidate desirable<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience working with Microsoft Office (excel, word etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n
    • High attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

You drive the delivery and quality improvement of CDD activities across your team. You are the linking pin for harmonization and operational excellence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What’s your focus:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Steer a team that is responsible for delivering timely and compliant execution of CDD client files for business \/private customers in the full KYC cycle;<\/li>\n<li>Make sure that the team is operationally efficient, both in capacity as well as competencies;<\/li>\n<li>Set clear qualitative as well as quantitative objectives, KPI’s and year plans for the team, closely monitor if these are met, and take action if needed;<\/li>\n<li>Provide management information on the operational performance;<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the uniform, compliant implementation and application of CDD procedures throughout the team;<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to and implement structural and uniform process and quality improvements within the CDD area in close collaboration with other operational teams and the Centre of Expertise (CoE).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>This is you<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A true people leader for the CDD co-workers you are able to explain KYC & FC strategy and business plans, set appropriate performance objectives, motivate co-workers to do extraordinary things to achieve the objectives, drive personal and professional development, FLOW dialogues and coach direct reports to reach their full potential.<\/p>\n<p>You are an KYC\/CDD management professional who has expert knowledge of CDD processes and a thorough knowledge of applicable regulatory framework and laws. You are a competent professional and people manager, used to collaborate with mid and senior management. You have good stakeholder management skills and like collaborating with other departments in the first as well as the second line.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is complemented by:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extensive experience in a complex CDD environment, including relevant management experience;<\/li>\n<li>(Preferably) a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Law, Criminology, Business Economics or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>competencies, or equivalent experience in a complex CDD environment.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant experience as people manager is a pr<\/li>\n<li>(Willingness to obtain) certifications that demonstrate your expertise on KYC\/CDD (e.g. ACAMS);<\/li>\n<li>(Willingness to obtain) certifications that demonstrate Agile\/Scrum and LEAN expertise; or equivalent by experience<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English and Dutch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The team<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The overall KYC & FC CDD teams are primarily organized via countries and steered by Group.
