An established and growing organization is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to help build and mature its internal audit function. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative environment where audit is viewed as a strategic business partner focused on delivering meaningful risk insights, strengthening controls, and improving operational effectiveness.<\/p>\n

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on audit professional who enjoys working independently, partnering with stakeholders across the business, and helping shape a scalable audit program. This role offers significant visibility with leadership and the opportunity to contribute to enterprise risk management, audit planning, and the continued evolution of governance and control processes.<\/p>\n

Skills & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field<\/li>\n
  • 5+ years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related function<\/li>\n
  • Experience leading end-to-end audits, including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, testing, reporting, and issue follow-up<\/li>\n
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and governance principles<\/li>\n
  • Knowledge of COSO and other internal control frameworks<\/li>\n
  • Experience evaluating operational, compliance, financial, and technology-related risks<\/li>\n
  • Ability to develop clear audit documentation, workpapers, and audit reports<\/li>\n
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills<\/li>\n
  • Experience using data analysis tools and audit technologies<\/li>\n
  • Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or CISA are preferred<\/li>\n
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong business partnerships and professional objectivity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Plan and execute risk-based internal audits across operational, financial, compliance, and technology-related areas<\/li>\n
    • Conduct risk assessments, process walkthroughs, and control evaluations to identify key risks and opportunities for improvement<\/li>\n
    • Develop audit scopes, testing strategies, and work programs aligned with organizational priorities<\/li>\n
    • Perform audit testing through inquiry, observation, inspection, reperformance, and data analysis<\/li>\n
    • Prepare organized audit workpapers and maintain supporting documentation for audit conclusions<\/li>\n
    • Assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls<\/li>\n
    • Identify control gaps, compliance concerns, and operational risks<\/li>\n
    • Develop practical recommendations to strengthen controls and improve business processes<\/li>\n
    • Prepare clear and concise audit reports outlining findings, root causes, risk impacts, and corrective actions<\/li>\n
    • Track audit findings and remediation activities through resolution and validation<\/li>\n
    • Support enterprise risk assessment activities and annual audit planning<\/li>\n
    • Partner with business leaders to communicate audit objectives, findings, and recommendations<\/li>\n
    • Contribute to the enhancement of audit methodologies, reporting processes, and audit standards<\/li>\n
    • Utilize audit and data analytics tools to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness<\/li>\n
    • Support special projects and emerging risk initiatives as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

class=\"isSelectedEnd\">You’ll join an experienced SAP Basis team responsible for the availability, performance and continuous improvement of multiple SAP landscapes supporting critical business You’ll be the single point of accountability for both, across projects ranging from straightforward to genuinely complex.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you’ll be doing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the analysis side: leading on business problem definition, mapping current and future-state processes (BPMN, swimlane), and eliciting, documenting and validating requirements through to formal sign-off and traceability. You’ll manage scope, assumptions and change control, and contribute to business cases including options, costs, risks and benefits.<\/p>\n<p>On the test side: owning test strategy and test plans for your projects, defining scope, environments, entry\/exit criteria and timelines. You’ll be the single point of accountability for both, across projects ranging from straightforward to genuinely complex.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>What you’ll be doing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> On the analysis side: leading on business problem definition, mapping current and future-state processes (BPMN, swimlane), and eliciting, documenting and validating requirements through to formal sign-off and traceability. You’ll manage scope, assumptions and change control, and contribute to business cases including options, costs, risks and benefits.<\/p>\n<p> On the test side: owning test strategy and test plans for your projects, defining scope, environments, entry\/exit criteria and timelines. You’ll run test kick-offs, manage defects through to closure, and coordinate testing across internal teams and third-party suppliers – including holding suppliers to account on quality and coverage.<\/p>\n<p> You’ll work across Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery, adapting your approach accordingly, and you may also pick up light project management on smaller pieces of work.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>What you’ll need<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven end-to-end BA experience on large, complex projects or programmes<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable ownership of test strategy, planning and execution – not just BA work with some testing bolted on<\/li>\n<li>Strong process modelling experience (BPMN\/swimlane, As-Is\/To-Be)<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing third-party suppliers through the full delivery lifecycle<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working across multiple delivery methodologies<\/li>\n<li>BCS (ISEB) Diploma in Business Analysis (essential)<\/li>\n<li>IIBA certification and\/or PRINCE2 (desirable)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/p>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/Sm9uLkdyZWVuLjExMzIwLjExMzA5QG9saXZlcmphbWVzYXNzb2NpYXRlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Business Analyst \/ Test Manager 6 month contract | Leeds (one day a week) We’re working with a well-known construction business to find a Business Analyst who can also own testing end-to-end. With increasing business activities and a solid growth plan in place for Hong Kong, the Investment Management unit is now seeking a high-calibre Investment Manager to join the Fixed Income team based in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<ul>\n<li>Report to the Head of Investments and be responsible for the oversight and management of the group’s investment portfolio, encompassing asset allocation, portfolio construction and investment risk management across long-term capital.<\/li>\n<li>Support the active management of fixed income allocations, ensuring alignment with the overall portfolio strategy and long-term return objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor global capital markets and portfolio positioning on an ongoing basis, providing timely insights to inform strategic and tactical investment decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and evaluate external investment managers, assessing performance, mandate adherence, and associated investment and operational risks.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct rigorous investment due diligence to identify and recommend opportunities across asset classes, with a focus on risk-adjusted returns and portfolio fit.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and deliver periodic investment, performance and risk reporting for internal stakeholders, supporting governance and decision-making processes.<\/li>\n<li>Enhance data infrastructure and investment processes by maintaining internal and third-party systems and contributing to technology and analytics-driven initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Apply quantitative techniques and support responsible investment practices, including ESG integration, while staying abreast of evolving market, macroeconomic and industry developments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<ul>\n<li>An Undergraduate Degree preferably with a Master degree or CFA designation<\/li>\n<li>Min. 7 years of relevant experience in Fixed Income Research, Investment Analysis, Portfolio Management, Asset Allocations<\/li>\n<li>Industry experience gained from Asset Owner, Investment Management, Pension Funds, Insurance General Accounts and \/ or sizeable Family Offices<\/li>\n<li>Relevant experience gained from Investment Advisory firms would also be considered<\/li>\n<li>Broad understanding of financial markets and derivatives products<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Excel, SQL, VBA, and Python would be an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent presentation and communication skills in English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/YW15LmhvLjM1MzE0LjExMzA5QG9saXZlcmphbWVzYXNzb2NpYXRlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Buy-side \/ Asset Owner Investment Management Fixed Income Focused Research & Portfolio Management Our client is the in-house Investment Management division of a well-established financial services group.
