We are seeking an experienced Project Manager<\/strong> to lead the delivery of a major Insurance Agency Platform<\/strong> project. This is a high-impact role focused on modernizing and transforming how our insurance agency network operates, with strong emphasis on digital enablement and AI-driven initiatives<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners to deliver a best-in-class platform that enhances distribution capabilities, agent productivity, and customer experience.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of the Insurance Agency Platform project, including AI-powered features for distribution, underwriting support, and agent management.<\/li>\n
  • Manage project scope, timeline, budget, resources, and risks using structured project management methodologies (Agile\/Scrum\/Waterfall as appropriate).<\/li>\n
  • Drive AI transformation<\/strong> initiatives within the insurance distribution ecosystem – previous experience leading AI implementation or digital transformation projects in financial services is highly preferred.<\/li>\n
  • Facilitate collaboration between business units (Sales, Operations, IT, Compliance) and technical teams.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure clear communication and stakeholder management across all levels, including senior leadership.<\/li>\n
  • Monitor project progress, provide regular status reporting, and proactively resolve issues to keep the project on track.<\/li>\n
  • Champion change management and user adoption of the new platform.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Requirements<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • 5+ years<\/strong> of solid Project Management experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, or fintech.<\/li>\n
    • Proven track record leading AI transformation, digital distribution, or platform implementation<\/strong> projects.<\/li>\n
    • Strong understanding of insurance agency operations and distribution channels is a significant advantage.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent command of Cantonese and English<\/strong> (ability to conduct meetings, prepare documentation, and present in both languages).<\/li>\n
    • Certified Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications) is preferred.<\/li>\n
    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.<\/li>\n
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with insurance core systems or agency management platforms is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

The claims require prompt coverage analysis, determination of liability and defenses, investigation of alleged damages, and timely reserve evaluation.<\/li>\n<li>Will be required to attend virtual and in person mediations and settlement conferences to negotiate cost-effective settlements and potentially attend trials.<\/li>\n<li>Interact with respective profit center leaders, underwriters, actuaries, and reinsurers on trends, developments, and individual claims.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Requirement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Position Requirements<\/span>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree.<\/li>\n<li>At least 7 years of experience handling excess claims, including experience with New York Labor Law.<\/li>\n<li>Superior negotiation and litigation management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.<\/li>\n<li>Must have a pro-active approach.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of claims management.<\/li>\n<li>Travel may be required and will vary depending on business needs and caseloads.<\/li>\n<li>Insurance adjuster licenses must be obtained where needed.
