SAP roadmap.<\/p>\n<p>This is a hands-on, senior consulting position covering both strategic input and day-to-day operational support &#8211; working closely with internal stakeholders, the Head of Finance Systems, and an external implementation partner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll be doing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborating with internal Team Leads and an external partner to shape ecosystem improvements, aligned to SAP best practice and business requirements<\/li>\n<li>Providing expert guidance on system configuration and functionality<\/li>\n<li>Delivering front-line support &#8211; triaging and resolving incidents for the internal team<\/li>\n<li>Assessing and implementing new release features and upgrades<\/li>\n<li>Supporting Phase 3 rollout for US-based partners<\/li>\n<li>Mentoring junior team members and supporting a global user base<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll bring:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years&#8217; SAP experience in a senior SAP consulting role, with strong SAP Finance<\/li>\n<li>Proven FI\/MM\/SD experience<\/li>\n<li>Expertise in SAP Procurement, including CIM or an equivalent supplier invoicing solution<\/li>\n<li>Experience with internal\/external reporting and workflows<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of SAP Fit to Standard vs Standard methodology<\/li>\n<li>Solid grounding in Financial Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field<\/li>\n<li>UK-based and eligible to work without analysis, accounting oversight, process improvement, financial operations, data collection and much more.<\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div>They are offering a total compensation package between $170,000 and $200,000, hybrid working, a clear route for progression to the management\/VP level as well as various other excellent benefits!<\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Primary support for data aggregation, coordinating the collection of financial reporting deliverables across the Credit and Real Estate platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare initial variance analysis and trend reports, as well as assist in drafting communications regarding fund-specific nuances.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a strong understanding of complex fund concepts, through fund operating metrics.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with administrators to monitor performance and assist with key projects relating to data integration.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and update automation workflows as reporting requirements evolve, as well as utilize AI-assisted tools to improve the speed and accuracy of routine data collection.<\/li>\n<li>Identify manual reporting tasks that can be automated through building solutions using Alteryx or Power BI.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4-6 years of experience in public accounting and\/or the investment management space.<\/li>\n<li>CPA qualification (completed or in process).<\/li>\n<li>Strong interest in data automation and leveraging technology as well as accounting &amp; Real Estate Credit"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Oliver James have recently partnered with a fast-growing middle-market asset manager based in New York as they look to hire a Controller to oversee their Real Estate Credit investment platform which totals $25b AUM.<\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div>Our client is seeking to hire an experienced (8-12 years) Fund Controller to oversee the fund accounting, financial reporting and operational management of the company&#8217;s primary investment platform which focuses within the commercial real estate lending space. <\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div>They are offering a total compensation package between $350,000 and $450,000, a clear route for progression to the executive level, future eligibility for carry as well as many more excellent benefits! (worth noting this position will be full time in the office)<\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee all fund accounting, financial reporting, closing processes and operational management across the company&#8217;s investment vehicles and related entities.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing and approving of fund financial statements, management fee calculations, investor allocations, general ledgers etc.<\/li>\n<li>Manage all capital activity including capital calls, distributions, sub-closes, expense allocations and fund-level cash movements.<\/li>\n<li>Lead treasury management across funds and entities, including cash forecasting, subscription facilities, banking relationships and capital planning initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee development of fund-level forecasting, liquidity models, scenario analysis, and strategic financial reporting to support investment decisions.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee quarterly valuation processes and drive continuous process improvement across fund finance operations including automation, enhanced controls and AI-enabled reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise a team of 6 fund finance professionals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8-12 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably within real estate or credit.<\/li>\n<li>CPA qualification <\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of US GAAP, fund accounting, investor reporting, fund operations.<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience leading and mentoring accounting teams in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with fund accounting systems, Excel and automation tools.<\/li>\n<li>Workday and Yardi are preferred systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Total compensation range between $350,000 and $450,000<\/li>\n<li>Carry after 12 months of employment<\/li>\n<li>Excellent healthcare benefits &amp; 401k match<\/li>\n<li>Clear route for progression to C-Suite\/Executive level<\/li>\n<li>Remote working weeks at end of August &amp; December<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you possess the relevant experience within the real estate\/credit asset management spaces and are interested in exploring this exciting opportunity, please send a copy of your resume to sam.smyth@oliverjames.com<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p> <\/div>\n<div>\n<h2>\n<p> Director &#8211; Fund Controller <br \/> <\/h2>\n<p> <\/div>\n<p> <\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p> Our client, a leading firm in the Asset Management industry, is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated professional to join their Asset Management Operations department as the Director &#8211; Fund Controller. This is a rare opportunity to work on sophisticated coverage and litigation matters while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership across a diverse commercial insurance portfolio.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Opportunity<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This is <strong>not<\/strong> a traditional claims handling position.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, you&#8217;ll join a highly visible team that represents the company in litigation and coverage matters.
