This role leads the Integrations Team and drives API-first, cloud-native integration solutions connecting Guidewire, enterprise applications, digital platforms, and third-party partners.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This is <strong>not<\/strong> a traditional middleware or support management role. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong people leadership, influencing architecture, mentoring engineers, establishing engineering standards, and leading modernization initiatives.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the enterprise integration strategy, architecture, and technical roadmap.<\/li>\n<li>Drive modernization initiatives, including API-first architecture, cloud migration, event-driven integrations, legacy platform modernization, and DevOps maturity.<\/li>\n<li>Own enterprise API management, governance, lifecycle management, and cloud-native integration standards.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of integrations across Guidewire, enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and third-party vendors.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, engineering standards, mentoring, and technology decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>Build and develop a high-performing engineering team while managing priorities, delivery, and operational excellence.<\/li>\n<li>Promote modern software engineering practices, including CI\/CD, automated testing, Agile delivery, and AI-assisted development.<\/li>\n<li>Identify automation opportunities, including RPA, while partnering with teams responsible for enterprise AI initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Experience leading technical engineering teams with responsibility for both people leadership and technical direction.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience with:<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Enterprise integration architecture<\/li>\n<li>REST APIs and API management platforms (AWS API Gateway, Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft, WSO2, or similar)<\/li>\n<li>API governance and lifecycle management<\/li>\n<li>Cloud-native and event-driven architectures<\/li>\n<li>AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform<\/li>\n<li>CI\/CD, GitHub or Bitbucket, Agile delivery, and modern software engineering practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Experience influencing architecture, mentoring engineers, and establishing engineering standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Guidewire Cloud and Guidewire Cloud Integration Gateway experience.<\/li>\n<li>Insurance industry integration experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience leading modernization initiatives, including cloud migration and legacy integration replacement.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with serverless technologies, AWS Lambda, and enterprise automation (RPA).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ideal Candidate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate is a <strong>technical integration engineering leader<\/strong>, not simply a manager of middleware or support teams. are looking to add X3 new positions to their financial lines division. <\/p>\n<p> &#8211; X2 Claims Counsel level positions where you will handle a caseload of EPL and private D&amp;O Claims<\/p>\n<p> &#8211; X1 Senior Claims Counsel position where you will focus on complex EPL, public D&amp;O and Private D&amp;O Claims <\/p><\/div>\n<p>To qualify for these positions you must have 3+ years of experience within EPL or D&amp;O and 5+ years for the senior role across EPL and D&amp;O.<\/p><\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div>You must have strong coverage and litigation experience. You must also have a JD to qualify for either positions.<\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div>The position is on a hybrid basis from CT, NJ, NY, Chicago or ATL &#8211; 3 days in office, 2 days remote. responsible for managing key capital modelling processes, including:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Production of Lloyd&#8217;s SCRs and economic capital requirements<\/li>\n<li>Managing the parameterisation and development of the capital model<\/li>\n<li>Assessing and addressing limitations within capital modelling methodologies<\/li>\n<li>Supporting model validation and maintaining Internal Model documentation<\/li>\n<li>Embedding the use of the capital model across the business and supporting decision-making<\/li>\n<li>Providing capital analysis around areas such as underwriting portfolios, reinsurance and investment strategy<\/li>\n<li>Managing capital allocation and risk appetite assessments<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the ORSA and liaising with Lloyd&#8217;s and the PRA<\/li>\n<li>Managing and developing members of the capital modelling team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About you<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">We are looking for a <strong>qualified GI actuary<\/strong> with:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Strong capital modelling experience within <strong>Lloyd&#8217;s<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Experience of stochastic modelling of insurance risks<\/li>\n<li>Experience managing projects and\/or people<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and experience presenting to senior stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of <strong>Igloo or equivalent capital modelling software<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>A good understanding of the <strong>Solvency UK<\/strong> framework<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Experience overseeing Sitting at the intersection of Finance, Data and Technology, you will take ownership of translating complex Finance priorities into clear, structured and delivery-ready requirements. This is a high-visibility role suited to someone who combines strong Business Analysis capability with a Product Owner mindset and can independently drive change from initial requirements and business design through to delivery and testing. <\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead requirements gathering, definition and documentation across a portfolio of Finance transformation initiatives. <\/li>\n<li>Act as the key bridge between Finance, Data, Technology, external vendors and delivery teams. <\/li>\n<li>Translate complex Finance requirements into clear, sequenced and actionable change requirements. <\/li>\n<li>Own business design and review solution design documentation, ensuring proposed solutions meet Finance requirements. <\/li>\n<li>Take ownership of UAT planning and execution, maintaining clear traceability between requirements and testing. <\/li>\n<li>Improve delivery quality by ensuring requirements are complete, validated and signed off before development. <\/li>\n<li>Work closely with senior Finance stakeholders while reducing reliance on SMEs for day-to-day delivery. <\/li>\n<li>Help improve and modernise the approach to Finance change within a predominantly waterfall environment. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Experience Required<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong Senior Business Analyst experience within Finance Transformation &#8211; this is not suited to a generic BA without significant Finance experience. <\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of Finance processes, data flows and reporting, ideally across Financial Control, FP&amp;A and\/or Treasury. <\/li>\n<li>Experience operating with a Product Owner mindset, taking genuine ownership of change rather than solely documenting requirements. <\/li>\n<li>Strong process and data-flow mapping skills, with the ability to visualise end-to-end processes and system interactions. <\/li>\n<li>Experience working across Finance, Data and Technology teams and managing relationships with third-party vendors. <\/li>\n<li>Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge, influence and align senior stakeholders. <\/li>\n<li>Experience owning UAT and testing activity through to completion. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Particularly Relevant Experience<\/h2>\n<p>The upcoming roadmap includes a significant General Ledger transformation, making previous GL implementation or transformation experience highly desirable. Experience improving month-end close processes would also be particularly relevant.<\/p>\n<p> Experience in any of the following would also be valuable: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finance Data &amp; Reporting transformation, including working closely with BI\/Data teams. <\/li>\n<li>Treasury transformation or Treasury Management System implementations. <\/li>\n<li>Workday or Oracle Finance. <\/li>\n<li>Tableau or wider BI\/reporting environments. <\/li>\n<li>Finance automation or AI use cases. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership across a significant Finance change roadmap, with exposure to senior Finance stakeholders and major programmes spanning General Ledger, Finance Data &amp; Reporting and Treasury.
