Architect to bring clarity and direction to a complex, multi-domain transformation.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This isn’t a traditional architecture role. We’re looking for someone vendor-neutral who can step into cross-domain complexity, close out technical decisions that span multiple teams, and translate them into sequenced, value-led delivery, without stepping on Product’s or Engineering’s toes.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Working across 3-4 teams spanning Business, Technology, and third-party vendors, you’ll define target and transition architecture for the SMS stack, assess integration patterns, and advise on the build vs. buy vs. reuse decisions that will shape the platform’s future.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Key responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Defining target and transition architecture across the SMS\/communications stack, including delivery, short codes, templates, consent, retention and orchestration.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding how core platform components (e.g. DCP, EP, SLX, Chorus) and Line of Business systems fit together, and the cross-domain impacts of architectural change.<\/li>\n<li>Advising on build vs. buy vs. reuse decisions, with the judgment to know when each is the right call.<\/li>\n<li>Working across 3-4 teams to understand integration patterns and assess the implications of decisions across each.<\/li>\n<li>Closing cross-domain technical decisions and translating them into sequenced, value-led delivery work.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting vendor evaluation, ideally staying through the first end-to-end implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Advising on the operating model: vendor management, consent enforcement, records\/legal hold, incident ownership and LOB adoption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We’re looking for someone with strong Enterprise Architecture experience within SMS\/communications platforms, and a clear understanding of transition architecture and how decisions in one domain (e.g. login\/authentication) ripple into others.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">You’ll be confident operating vendor-neutral, comfortable closing decisions across multiple stakeholder groups, and experienced enough to advise credibly on operating model considerations in a regulated environment. We’re looking for someone with a genuine technical background who can get into the detail with Engineering and Vendor teams, challenge them when something isn’t right, and hold every party accountable to commitments. While keeping relationships strong. You’ll be the person who spots the smoke before it becomes a fire.<\/p>\n<p>You’ll coordinate delivery across multiple Engineering and Vendor teams (up to 50 people), track metrics and milestones, and bring consistent process discipline to a fast-moving, SAFe\/Agile environment.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing end-to-end planning and execution across cross-functional Engineering and Vendor teams, from concept through delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Acting as primary point of contact for stakeholders, including Product, Engineering, executive leadership, and vendors.<\/li>\n<li>Tracking delivery metrics, commitments, dependencies, and milestones – translating requirements and user stories into clear vendor deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Identifying risks and emerging issues early, escalating and driving corrective action before they become delivery problems.<\/li>\n<li>Holding vendors accountable for delivery, partnering with Procurement on contract negotiation and risk review.<\/li>\n<li>Applying consistent SAFe\/Agile process and delivery discipline across teams without becoming overly rigid.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating post-launch activities – monitoring adoption, collecting feedback, and driving follow-up actions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we’re looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First and foremost, a Technical Program Manager with a strong technology\/software engineering background – ideally someone who has previously written software.<\/li>\n<li>Technically credible enough to challenge Engineering and Vendor teams directly and identify when something isn’t right.
