I’m currently partnered with a highly rated, established insurance carrier that is entering an exciting period of growth within its Commercial P&C offering.<\/p>\n

They are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Multi-Line Underwriter who can take ownership of a commercial portfolio, build strong agency relationships and play a key role in the continued development of the platform.<\/p>\n

This is an opportunity to join an established business while still having the entrepreneurial feel and influence of helping build something new.<\/p>\n

The Role<\/h3>\n

You will be responsible for:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Underwriting new business and renewals across a range of commercial P&C lines.<\/li>\n
  • Evaluating risks, exposures, loss history and risk controls.<\/li>\n
  • Determining appropriate terms, conditions, coverage and pricing.<\/li>\n
  • Managing and developing relationships with assigned retail agencies.<\/li>\n
  • Growing and managing a profitable book of commercial business.<\/li>\n
  • Conducting agency visits, meetings and marketing activity.<\/li>\n
  • Working closely with senior underwriting leadership on the continued development of the Commercial P&C offering.<\/li>\n
  • Contributing technical underwriting expertise as new products and lines are introduced.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    About You<\/h3>\n

    The ideal candidate will have:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • 5+ years’ commercial multi-line underwriting experience.<\/li>\n
    • Strong knowledge across multiple commercial P&C lines.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with Commercial Property, General Liability, Auto and\/or other commercial lines.<\/li>\n
    • Experience underwriting both new business and renewals.<\/li>\n
    • A strong understanding of underwriting profitability and risk selection.<\/li>\n
    • Existing relationships with commercial insurance agencies.<\/li>\n
    • Strong communication, relationship management and business development skills.<\/li>\n
    • Experience managing an assigned territory or book of business.<\/li>\n
    • Florida commercial underwriting experience preferred.<\/li>\n
    • CPCU, CIC or another relevant industry designation is advantageous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Je houdt je bezig met complexe corporate klanten en financial institutions uit onder andere Europa, Afrika, Azi\u00eb en Latijns-Amerika. Hierdoor krijg je te maken met complexe organisatiestructuren, internationale geldstromen en uiteenlopende geografische risico’s.<\/p>\n<h2>Wat ga je doen?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Als Senior CDD Analist ben je verantwoordelijk voor het zelfstandig onderzoeken, analyseren en beoordelen van complexe klantdossiers. As part of strategic growth, the firm is seeking a high-calibre Operations Leader to manage an experienced team in Securities \/ Equities Operations. <\/p>\n<p> The key responsibilities for this position are as follows:<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the team to ensure efficient and orderly clearing and settlement across equities, securities, exchange-traded and OTC derivatives markets<\/li>\n<li>Regularly identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and implementing solutions supported by robust controls<\/li>\n<li>Cultivate strong partnerships across the local market ecosystem, engaging banks, brokers, exchanges, central depositories, central banks and regulatory bodies to strengthen collaboration<\/li>\n<li>Adapt quickly to evolving market conditions, contributing to transformation initiatives and reshaping operating models, policies and workflows<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Product, Technology, Sales & Marketing, Legal, Compliance and Risk, to advance post-trade business priorities<\/li>\n<li>Establish and continuously refine documentation frameworks, applying strong expertise in account administration, vendor oversight and contract governance<\/li>\n<li>Develop and sustain relationships with external counterparties, vendors, network and relevant stakeholders, while driving modernisation of legacy processes through structured improvement initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Manage client feedback effectively, leveraging market insight to address requests, enhance service delivery and provide training that improves engagement and awareness of new services and initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Lead market outreach, involve in industry initiatives, contribute to committee meetings, aligning internal stakeholders with market expectations while staying attuned to regulatory and industry developments and communicating key updates to relevant parties<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An University Degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 12-15 years’ experience in Operations, Settlement, Clearing, Post-Trade Operations, Network Management, Business Management gained from Investment Banking, Securities Services, Custodian Services and \/ or Exchanges<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge in equities and securities products and services in the Hong Kong market<\/li>\n<li>Proven leadership and people management skills with a track record of developing teams through ongoing guidance and feedback<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, able to engage effectively with internal and external parties at all levels<\/li>\n<li>Self-driven, entrepreneurial and resourceful with good project lead \/ project management skills<\/li>\n<li>Good presentation and language skills in English, Cantonese and \/ or Mandarin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/YW15LmhvLjI1MTA5LjExMzA5QG9saXZlcmphbWVzYXNzb2NpYXRlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All-rounded Operations Leader (Mandarin \/ Cantonese languages Required) Participate in Industry Initiatives \/ Projects Securities Services, Custody Operations, Network Management, Business Management Our client is a fast-expanding Financial Institution with a solid focus in developing the Asia Financial Markets businesses.
