An established insurance organization is seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting<\/strong> to oversee financial reporting activities, ensure accuracy and compliance, and support the monthly and quarterly close process.<\/p>\n

This role is well suited for an experienced accounting professional with strong financial reporting experience who is comfortable working across Finance and partnering with senior stakeholders.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare and review financial statements and related reporting schedules.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with applicable accounting standards.<\/li>\n
  • Support GAAP and\/or statutory reporting requirements.<\/li>\n
  • Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.<\/li>\n
  • Analyze financial results and investigate significant variances.<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Audit, and other finance teams.<\/li>\n
  • Support internal and external audits.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain and strengthen financial reporting controls and processes.<\/li>\n
  • Lead process improvements and reporting automation initiatives.<\/li>\n
  • Manage, mentor, and develop accounting\/financial reporting staff as applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Requirements<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.<\/li>\n
    • 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles<\/strong>. Plus to have experience in STAT Reporting.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with month-end and quarter-end close.<\/li>\n
    • Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.<\/li>\n
    • Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and supporting schedules.<\/li>\n
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines.<\/li>\n
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.<\/li>\n
    • Experience working with auditors and cross-functional finance teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred:<\/strong> CPA, insurance industry experience, statutory reporting experience, and experience with financial reporting systems\/ERP platforms.<\/p>\n
