With increasing business activities and a solid growth plan in place for Asia, the group is now seeking a high-calibre Credit Risk Management Professional to join the Group Credit Risk Management team based in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p> The key responsibilities for this position are as follows: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A member of the Credit Risk Management function for the Asia portfolio (key focus in Private Credit), providing credit risk oversight, governance and control, assessing counterparty risks, invested credit risk, asset portfolio risk exposure, group credit risk exposures<\/li>\n<li>Shape and strengthen enterprise-wide risk management practices by establishing robust governance, assessment frameworks and risk appetite measures for investment portfolios.<\/li>\n<li>Provide independent second-line oversight and challenge on credit policies, risk methodologies, governance standards, and investment-related initiatives, including new asset classes, private credits, strategies, and operating models.<\/li>\n<li>Review portfolio proposals, risk assessments, and limit requests, delivering clear recommendations to senior management and governance committees on key credit and investment risks.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee private credit portfolios, assessing portfolio quality, concentration risks, valuations, and governance arrangements while strengthening portfolio-wide risk monitoring capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Provide specialist advice on counterparty exposures, ensuring risks are appropriately identified, assessed and controlled.<\/li>\n<li>Enhance portfolio monitoring, data management and analytics, and reporting capabilities to identify emerging risks, improve risk insights, and support more efficient decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct thematic risk reviews and market analysis, providing actionable insights on credit trends, regulatory developments, and potential portfolio vulnerabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with senior stakeholders across investment, actuarial, finance and risk functions to influence strategic outcomes, support key business initiatives and drive a strong risk culture across the organisation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree qualified with around 8+ years of relevant experience in Credit Risk Management, Credit Risk Governance, Credit Risk Analysis, Investment Risk and \/ or Portfolio Risk<\/li>\n<li>Industry experience from insurance and \/ or asset management<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with private credit, structured credit, distressed assets, special situation, principal investments, public credit and fixed income market and products<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytic skills with ability to extract and analyse complex information and data<\/li>\n<li>Understanding on credit ratings, experienced in developing risk framework, limit frameworks, risk measures, portfolio risk, risk management and governance processes<\/li>\n<li>Excellent reporting writing, presentation and communication skills in English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/YW15LmhvLjAwODc2LjExMzA5QG9saXZlcmphbWVzYXNzb2NpYXRlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Buy-side \/ Asset-Owner Group Investment Credit Risk Management Key Focus in Private Credit Our client is a well-established International Insurance and Investment Management Group. We are looking for a technically strong architect who can translate business needs into robust, scalable end-to-end solutions and, most importantly, <strong>coach teams on the practical application of DDD<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify\">Your Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>\n<p>Define <strong>end-to-end solution architectures<\/strong> for new business domains.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Lead and coach teams in the <strong>practical application of Domain-Driven Design<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Identify bounded contexts, domains, aggregates and appropriate domain boundaries.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Translate business requirements into clear technical solutions and architecture blueprints.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Design modern, scalable architectures based on <strong>microservices and APIs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Help define the transition from legacy systems towards modern domain-based solutions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Collaborate closely with developers, technical leads, product owners and business stakeholders.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Ensure architectural decisions are aligned with enterprise standards and technical strategy.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Challenge existing approaches and provide expert guidance on architectural choices.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify\">Technical Environment<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">You will work in an environment including:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>\n<p><strong>DDD \/ Domain-Driven Design &#8211; strong practical experience required<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>.NET \/ C#<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Angular<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Azure Cloud<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Microservices &amp; API architecture<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Containerisation<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>NoSQL databases<\/strong>, particularly <strong>Azure Cosmos DB<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Azure Logic Apps<\/strong> &#8211; a strong plus<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify\">About You<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">You have a strong technical background and have already <strong>implemented DDD in real-world projects<\/strong>, rather than simply knowing the theory.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">You are comfortable operating at architecture level while understanding the technical reality behind your decisions. You&#8217;ll be the technical point of contact for staff at every level of AI fluency &#8211; from business users needing practical, low-jargon help through to programmers needing real engineering support.<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t a generic &#8220;AI trainer&#8221; role. You&#8217;ll be debugging SQL\/formula logic built with Claude, configuring Custom GPTs, structuring new use cases from scratch, and increasingly building agentic workflows as governance allows.
