They will take full ownership of accounting, finance, tax and real estate responsibilities with the support of outsourced Audit and Tax firms.<\/p>\n<p>The individual will need to be self-motivated and have the ability to operate independently as an individual contributor. <\/p>\n<p>This is a HYBRID role in LA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the Accounting and Finance function; manage month-end close, prepare financial reporting packages, provide internal\/external reporting<\/li>\n<li>With the use of external tax CPAs, prepare filing for multiple business and entity returns<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing daily real estate operations, coordinating leasing tasks with brokers, and managing external projects<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate books and records, reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare cash activity schedules<\/li>\n<li>Implement improvements to financial procedures and workflows with the use of AI<\/li>\n<li>Oversight of fund performance and review of fund financials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting or Finance required<\/li>\n<li>CPA preferred but not required<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience as within private equity, real estate, or a similar asset manager<\/li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of US GAAP and general accounting principles<\/li>\n<li>Self-started and motivated to work autonomously<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/bWljaGFlbC5jZWxsaWVyLjk3MzA3LjExMzA5QG9saXZlcmphbWVzYXNzb2NpYXRlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A boutique investment firm, based in LA, is looking for an experienced Accountant with both Fund (Real Estate \/ Private Equity) and Corporate accounting experience. This role will support the BAU security function, with responsibility for monitoring alerts, investigating incidents, managing vulnerabilities and helping improve security controls across Microsoft 365, endpoint, cloud and on-premise environments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor, triage and investigate security alerts across cloud, Microsoft 365, endpoint and on-premise environments using tools such as SIEM, EDR\/XDR and Microsoft Defender.<\/li>\n<li>Support incident response activity from initial investigation through to containment, remediation, root-cause analysis and follow-up reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Review vulnerability scan results and security advisories, assess business impact, and coordinate remediation with infrastructure, endpoint and application teams.<\/li>\n<li>Administer and tune Microsoft security tooling, including Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA and wider Microsoft 365 security features.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with infrastructure, endpoint and service desk teams to improve security posture through hardening, patching and secure configuration changes.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with security governance, risk and compliance activities, including evidence gathering, audit support and alignment with frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR and internal policies.<\/li>\n<li>Support secure network operations by working with relevant teams on firewall rules, VPN access, web filtering and related network security controls.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain practical security documentation, including incident response playbooks, operational runbooks and process notes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related discipline is desirable; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.<\/li>\n<li>5+ years&#8217; experience in security operations, security engineering or a similar hands-on cybersecurity role, ideally in a regulated, corporate or professional services environment.<\/li>\n<li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft security technologies, including Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA and Microsoft 365 security administration.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR\/XDR, vulnerability management and cloud security tooling; Azure experience would be highly beneficial.<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of network security fundamentals, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS\/IPS, DNS, TCP\/IP and secure remote access.<\/li>\n<li>Experience using PowerShell or another scripting language to automate routine security or infrastructure tasks would be an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft security certifications, CISSP, CISM or CEH would be advantageous but are not essential.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/VnkuRG9hbi45Mjc2NC4xMTMwOUBvbGl2ZXJqYW1lc2Fzc29jaWF0ZXMuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Location: Dublin City Centre Setup: Hybrid (3 days onsite) Oliver James&#8217; client is looking to hire an IT Security Operations Engineer to join its internal technology team. Het Client Outreach Team verzorgt de initi\u00eble klantinventarisatie aan de hand van een checklist. Voor een volledige beoordeling conform de WWFT-wetgeving is echter aanvullende analyse vereist.<\/p>\n<p> Sinds 1 januari 2026 zijn de Client Managers verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering van de KYC-analyses. Daarnaast ondersteun je Client Managers bij het invullen en beoordelen van het risico categorie formulier als onderdeel van periodieke KYC-reviews. <\/p>\n<div> Ook draag je bij aan de verwerking van reguliere KYC-analyses (BAU), waaronder het completeren van de CDD dossiers namens de relatiemanagers. Het Client Outreach Team verzorgt de initi\u00eble klantinventarisatie aan de hand van een checklist. Voor een volledige beoordeling conform de WWFT-wetgeving is echter aanvullende analyse vereist.<\/p>\n<p> Sinds 1 januari 2026 zijn de Client Managers verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering van de KYC-analyses. Daarnaast ondersteun je Client Managers bij het invullen en beoordelen van het risico categorie formulier als onderdeel van periodieke KYC-reviews.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p> Ook draag je bij aan de verwerking van reguliere KYC-analyses (BAU), waaronder het completeren van de CDD dossiers namens de relatiemanagers. Het Client Outreach Team verzorgt de initi\u00eble klantinventarisatie aan de hand van een checklist. Voor een volledige beoordeling conform de WWFT-wetgeving is echter aanvullende analyse vereist.<\/p>\n<p> Sinds 1 januari 2026 zijn de Client Managers verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering van de KYC-analyses.
