With an expanding presence in Asia and strong growth in business activities, the company is now seeking a high-calibre Distribution Strategy &amp; Transformation professional to join the Regional function in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p>The key responsibilities for this position are as follows: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Senior member of the Asia Distribution function supporting strategy development and transformations initiatives across all distribution channels (Agency, Bancassurance, Partnerships, Brokers, Digital)<\/li>\n<li>Engage with local markets and distribution divisions on ideas generation, identify systemic impediments and innovation opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Deep-dive on business process analysis, financial analysis and performance analysis to identify areas of improvement and transformation opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Design project structures, set up approach, project teams, identify resources and priorities to enable the local markets or business units to deliver and execute the transformation initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight on a portfolio of key strategic transformation initiatives from initiation and pre-execution stage, establishing the project team, resource identification, coaching project teams from planning to kick-start the project implementation &amp; delivery<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with business units and local country project teams on project status, ensuring adherence on execution and governance framework<\/li>\n<li>Monitor project financials and programs progress, alert of issues identified and facilitate mitigation solutions<\/li>\n<li>Recommend strategic change initiatives, forecast upcoming demands, provide financial analysis and planning, transfer ideas between countries \/ markets, articulate ideas into execution priorities and action plans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Successful applicants will have the following skills and experience: <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An university degree with minimum 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in Business Strategy \/ Transformation, Distribution Strategy \/ Transformation, Bancassurance Partnership, Agency Distribution, Management Consulting, Project Management<\/li>\n<li>Less experienced profiles around 8 years will be considered as Senior Manager level<\/li>\n<li>Industry experience from sizeable international Insurance firms or Insurance sector coverage from consulting firms<\/li>\n<li>Bancassurance experience from Retail Banking would also be considered<\/li>\n<li>Prior or current experience from management consulting firms focusing on Insurance and \/ or Financial Services would be beneficial<\/li>\n<li>Some exposure to Distribution initiatives preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience in designing, driving and executing cross-locations transformation and change management programs with ability to run multiple projects simultaneously<\/li>\n<li>Asia markets exposure including China would be highly advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and ideally Mandarin but not a must<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/YW15LmhvLjgwMjUxLjExMzA5QG9saXZlcmphbWVzYXNzb2NpYXRlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Expanding International Insurance Group Regional Distribution Strategy &amp; Transformation Initiatives in Agency, Partnerships, Brokers, Bancassurance &amp; Digital Our client is a leading international Insurance Group offering a diverse range of services across Life Insurance, Pension, Wealth Management and Asset Management. As part of a strategic global programme, they&#8217;re changing the way commercial relationships are managed &#8211; moving lower-tier accounts from in-person to remote\/online support models &#8211; and need experienced Programme\/Project Managers to drive that change across multiple regions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll join a small, high-calibre team of three Regional Programme\/Project Managers, working alongside two existing team members (one permanent, one contractor), reporting into the programme lead. You&#8217;ll take ownership of deployment across your regions &#8211; starting with the Americas, APAC, and Southern Europe &#8211; with each market running through a c.3-month intensive delivery phase followed by ongoing support.<\/p>\n<p>Core responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyse regional account data to identify which customers move to the new (remote) support model<\/li>\n<li>Lead the change management and communications plan for affected customers and internal stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Build and execute a project plan (scope, milestones, resourcing) for each market deployment<\/li>\n<li>Act as the go-to contact for your markets, managing risks, dependencies, and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Navigate a traditional, long-tenured organisational culture &#8211; bringing structure and pace without alienating deeply embedded ways of working<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we&#8217;re looking for<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong change management background &#8211; training, communications, stakeholder engagement<\/li>\n<li>Solid project\/programme management experience (3-5+ years), ideally with global or multi-market delivery<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, largely virtual, global team<\/li>\n<li>Industry background open &#8211; manufacturing, automotive, or pharma experience is a plus<\/li>\n<li>System implementation or &#8220;ways of working&#8221; rollout experience is a bonus, not essential<\/li>\n<li>PMP, Agile, IPMA or similar certification preferred but not required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Process:<\/strong> 2 stage interview process<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/Sm9uLkdyZWVuLjM2NDkyLjExMzA5QG9saXZlcmphbWVzYXNzb2NpYXRlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Global Project Manager &#8211; Change &amp; Deployment (Manufacturing) 12-month contract | Fully remote | \u00a3450\/day | Outside IR35 Our client is a long-established global manufacturing organisation undertaking a major transformation of how it serves its customer base worldwide.
