We are looking for an experienced Data Business Analyst to join a large-scale data transformation programme in Dublin.<\/p>\n

The successful candidate will have strong experience working on complex data projects, bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical data teams.<\/p>\n

Key Requirements<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Proven experience as a Data Business Analyst on large-scale data projects.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Strong hands-on SQL skills and experience analysing large datasets.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Experience with Snowflake and\/or Databricks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Experience with Power BI and\/or Tableau.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Strong understanding of data requirements, data quality, mapping, validation and data flows.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Experience working closely with data engineers, developers and business stakeholders.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Experience working in Agile environments.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable working across both business requirements and technical data analysis.<\/p>\n

affecting private funds.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with senior internal stakeholders and manage external legal advisers.<\/li>\n<li>Provide ongoing legal support across existing fund platforms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>About You<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You’ll be a qualified lawyer with approximately 4-6 year’s PQE gained either within a leading international law firm or an established investment manager.<\/p>\n<p> You’ll have strong experience advising on private investment funds, ideally within one or more of the following areas: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Private Equity<\/li>\n<li>Private Credit<\/li>\n<li>Real Estate Funds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will also demonstrate: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong technical knowledge of fund structuring and fundraising.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Commercial judgement and stakeholder management experience.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to manage multiple offering significant exposure across a diverse P&C portfolio, with responsibility for approximately <strong>\u00a33.5bn of reserves across 12 legal entities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will play a key role in quarterly reserving, financial and regulatory reporting, business partnering and actuarial transformation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will be responsible for delivering high-quality reserving analysis across multiple lines of business, while working closely with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Risk and Pricing.<\/p>\n<p>Key responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Delivering quarterly technical reserving analysis across multiple P&C lines.<\/li>\n<li>Providing actuarial insight into reserve movements, trends and emerging claims experience.<\/li>\n<li>Working directly with Underwriters to challenge assumptions and communicate actuarial judgement and recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting UK and European legal entities across UK GAAP, French GAAP, Solvency II and Solvency UK reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to annual portfolio reviews and actuarial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting regulatory, audit and governance requirements, including responding to auditor queries and supporting audit defence.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting a significant actuarial transformation programme and identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Working closely with international actuarial, claims, underwriting, finance and risk teams.<\/li>\n<li>Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the actuarial team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About You<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a <strong>qualified P&C actuary<\/strong> who combines strong technical reserving capability with commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management skills.<\/p>\n<p>You will ideally have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>FIA, FCAS, FIAA or equivalent qualification.<\/li>\n<li>Significant P&C reserving experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working within the London Market or Specialty insurance environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, French GAAP, Solvency II and\/or Solvency UK.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of IFRS 17.<\/li>\n<li>Experience analysing and explaining financial impacts and reserve movements.<\/li>\n<li>Confidence working directly with senior Underwriters and challenging assumptions constructively.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of P&C insurance and reinsurance products and reserving methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of actuarial software, with <strong>ResQ<\/strong> experience particularly beneficial.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We’re Looking For<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is not a purely technical or back-office reserving senior IAM Architect on a contract basis. You’ll set the technical direction for their identity and access landscape across multiple domains, from early planning through to delivery.
