What you’ll do<\/h3>\n

As an Audit Senior, you will:<\/p>\n

  • \n

    Lead and execute audit engagements from planning through completion<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Perform and review audit procedures across complex areas of financial reporting<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Prepare and review financial statements and related disclosures<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Evaluate internal controls, accounting processes and risk areas<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Serve as a key day-to-day contact for clients<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Identify and communicate accounting and audit issues to managers and partners<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Supervise, train and mentor Staff Accountants<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Manage engagement timelines and deliverables<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Participate in technical accounting research and complex audit matters<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and engagement teams<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What we’re looking for<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • \n

      3+ years of public accounting audit experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong understanding of US GAAP and auditing standards<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Experience leading portions of audit engagements<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Ability to supervise and develop junior team members<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong written and verbal communication skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      CPA license or active progress toward the CPA preferred<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Experience with middle-market, SEC, manufacturing, real estate, technology, life sciences or other complex clients is a plus<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

reporting, and related regulatory developments.<\/li>\n<li>Support derivatives and hedging activities, including ISDA documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Advise on financing, credit facilities, letters of credit, distributions, reinsurance transactions, and balance-sheet management.<\/li>\n<li>Support regulatory filings, regulatory responses, disclosures, and rating-agency matters.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with investment, treasury, finance, and transaction teams on strategic initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of legal experience focused on investments, asset management, finance, and\/or insurance regulation.<\/li>\n<li>Insurance\/reinsurance experience strongly preferred, particularly life insurance.<\/li>\n<li>Strong transactional, regulatory, drafting, and negotiation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate independently and advise senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>J.D. and active U.S. bar membership The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant legal experience with meaningful experience in insurance, ERISA, financial services regulation, or product\/regulatory matters.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be a practical, business-oriented lawyer who can partner closely with business leaders, compliance professionals, product teams, and senior management on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates with experience in insurance are particularly attractive, including attorneys with backgrounds in insurance product development, regulatory matters, ERISA, benefits, distribution, or insurance transactions.
