You will oversee the day-to-day delivery of client engagements, ensuring accurate reporting and a high standard of service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities Include<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p>Manage client relationships, maintaining regular communication around fund activity and operational requirements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Lead client engagements, balancing deadlines, client expectations and team capacity.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Oversee fund accounting, investor capital accounts and financial statement preparation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Coordinate audit and tax preparation with external auditors and tax advisors.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Review investor reporting and client communications for accuracy and consistency.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Mentor and develop Fund Controllers and junior accounting staff.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Support business development through proposals and prospective client discussions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p>Bachelor&#8217;s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Economics.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Five or more years of relevant experience in public accounting, fund administration or investment management, or at least one year at Manager level in public accounting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Experience working with private equity or venture capital funds.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong technical accounting skills, ideally including partnership accounting and private markets fund structures.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Ability to manage client relationships, lead teams and oversee multiple deliverables.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>CPA qualification preferred.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Controls:<\/strong> Oversee monthly and quarterly close processes, reconciliations and investment data integrity.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><strong>Regulatory Reporting:<\/strong> Manage investment-related statutory schedules and supporting information for regulatory capital requirements.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><strong>Systems &amp; Transformation:<\/strong> Improve investment accounting systems and processes, including potential transitions involving ePAM, Aladdin and Clearwater.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><strong>Process Improvement:<\/strong> Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and leverage AI and automation.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><strong>Team Leadership:<\/strong> Manage and develop a team of 4-5 professionals, promoting collaboration, cross-training and accountability.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><strong>Stakeholder Management:<\/strong> Partner with Investment Management, Finance, Tax, Treasury, FP&amp;A and external auditors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><strong>What We&#8217;re Looking For<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Significant investment accounting experience, ideally within life insurance, annuities or the broader insurance sector.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Strong technical knowledge of fixed income, bonds and Schedule D reporting.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Solid understanding of statutory and GAAP investment accounting and regulatory reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Experience with investment accounting platforms such as ePAM, Aladdin, Clearwater or comparable systems; implementation or migration experience is a plus.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Previous team leadership or mentoring experience, with a collaborative and hands-on management style.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">An interest in technology, process improvement and emerging AI applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><strong>Location &amp;
