Product Manager Financial Crime – Perpetual KYC<\/strong>

Introductie<\/strong>
Wil je bijdragen aan een bank die geld inzet voor positieve maatschappelijke impact? En wil je tegelijkertijd eigenaar zijn van een van de belangrijkste veranderingen binnen financial crime-bestrijding van dit moment? Dan is deze rol voor jou.<\/p>\n

Banken stappen over van periodieke klantreviews naar Perpetual KYC: continue, risicogestuurde klantmonitoring. Niet langer eens per e\u0301e\u0301n tot vijf jaar een dossier doorlopen, maar direct in actie komen zodra er iets verandert bij een klant. Voor deze transitie zoeken wij, namens onze opdrachtgever, een Product Manager die het product neerzet van visie tot meetbaar resultaat, en die tegelijk zijn of haar eigen team leidt.<\/p>\n

De organisatie<\/strong>
Onze opdrachtgever is een duurzame Europese bank met een duidelijke missie: geld gebruiken om positieve verandering mogelijk te maken. De bank financiert organisaties die bijdragen aan een duurzame samenleving, bijvoorbeeld op het gebied van energie, voedsel, zorg, onderwijs en cultuur.<\/p>\n

Een bank die bewust kiest met wie zij zaken doet, moet haar klanten ook e\u0301cht kennen. Integriteit en het voorkomen van financieel-economische criminaliteit zijn daarom geen afvinklijst, maar onderdeel van de kern van de organisatie.<\/p>\n

De bank is actief in meerdere Europese landen, heeft haar hoofdkantoor in de regio Utrecht en werkt volgens een agile model met Value Streams en productteams.<\/p>\n

De functie<\/strong>
Als Product Manager ben je eindverantwoordelijk voor de productvisie en de delivery van het Perpetual KYC-product, van concept tot gei\u0308mplementeerd en meetbaar resultaat. De rol valt binnen de Value Stream Financial Crime Protection (KYC & Financial Crime).<\/p>\n

Je werkt landoverstijgend samen met compliance, legal, risk en de KYC\/FC-operations in vier Europese landen. Je stuurt een cross-functioneel team aan van een Change Analyst, software engineers, KYC-specialisten en data & analytics-collega’s, en je bent ook hie\u0308rarchisch verantwoordelijk voor deze teamleden.<\/p>\n

Kortom: een rol waarin productstrategie, financial crime-expertise en leiderschap samenkomen. Je bent niet alleen eigenaar van de backlog, maar ook van visie, budget, leveranciers en team.<\/p>\n

Wat ga je doen?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Je stelt de productvisie voor Perpetual KYC op en draagt die uit, verankerd in regelgeving en de risk appetite van de bank<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Je beheert en prioriteert de product backlog op basis van data, waarde, risico en time-to-market<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Je vertaalt ontwikkelingen in wet- en regelgeving en financial crime-risico’s naar concrete productrequirements, in nauwe samenwerking met compliance, legal en risk<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het productbudget, business cases, leveranciersrelaties en productgovernance<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Je stuurt op outcome metrics en dashboards, bijvoorbeeld de doorlooptijd van reviews, de kwaliteit van klantdossiers en de dekking van risico’s<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Je geeft leiding aan je cross-functionele team en coacht medior collega’s in hun ontwikkeling<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Je zorgt voor afstemming tussen de landen, zodat het product werkt binnen vier jurisdicties<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Wat wordt er gevraagd?<\/strong>
    Om succesvol te zijn in deze rol, beschik je over:<\/p>\n

      Minimaal 7 jaar productmanagementervaring in financial services of een andere sterk gereguleerde sector<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Aantoonbare kennis van minimaal e\u0301e\u0301n financial crime-domein: fraude, sanctiescreening, transactie-\/klantmonitoring of AML-risicomodellering<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Ervaring met het vertalen van regelgeving naar productkeuzes, in samenwerking met compliance, legal en risk<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Ervaring met backlogmanagement in een agile omgeving en datagedreven sturing (dashboards, outcome metrics)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Ervaring met het coachen van product managers en het managen van leveranciers<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Professioneel Engels in woord en geschrift; Nederlands is een sterke pre\u0301<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Daarnaast is het een pre\u0301 als je beschikt over:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Een Scrum- of SAFe-certificering<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Kennis van financial crime-platforms, zoals transactiemonitoring, fraud rules engines en screeningtools<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Ervaring met (perpetual) KYC\/CDD-modellen<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Minstens zo belangrijk: je voelt je aangesproken door de missie van een bank die maatschappelijke impact centraal stelt, en je bent je bewust van je eigen impact op mens, milieu en maatschappij.<\/p>\n

This role combines financial analysis with data and reporting technology, helping improve the flow, quality, and accessibility of financial information.<\/p>\n<p>You’ll work with colleagues across Finance, IT, Data, Accounting, and Actuarial to maintain reporting tools, develop dashboards and automated reports, and support business planning and decision-making.<\/p>\n<h2> <\/h2>\n<h2>Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p>Support the flow of financial data from policy administration and accounting systems through the general ledger, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Assist with maintaining financial master data used in reporting processes and applications.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Prepare data queries, ad hoc analyses, and reporting outputs for corporate and business unit needs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Support planning and forecasting platforms, including annual planning and quarterly forecast processes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Help maintain automated data interfaces and reporting pipelines used to consolidate and monitor financial results.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Update reporting logic and calculation rules as business requirements change.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Maintain and enhance financial reports and dashboards, including Power BI reporting used for monthly expense reporting and business unit schedules.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Analyze data with data engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts to improve data collection, storage, and quality.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Identify gaps or anomalies in data flows, communicate findings, and recommend next steps.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Participate in cross-functional projects involving reporting requirements, analytics, or system implementations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Coordinate with Analytics and Finance teams to support consistent KPIs and reporting formats.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2> <\/h2>\n<h2>Qualifications:<\/h2>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>5+ years of experience in data analytics, financial analysis, reporting, or a related field.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, or data profiling tools.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, Java, or similar programming languages is preferred.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Experience with financial reporting, planning, or data platforms; familiarity with SAP, TM1, or comparable systems is helpful.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>General understanding of data warehousing, ETL, and reporting system concepts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data quality.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Clear written, verbal, and presentation skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A collaborative approach and the ability to work across Finance, IT, Data, Accounting, and Actuarial teams.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>To be considered for this opportunity, please apply using the prompts provided. platform, with a particular focus on bringing a newly launched, multi-jurisdictional open-ended vehicle to market and running it day to day. You will be a key point of contact for teams across the business, making sure the product runs smoothly and that issues are resolved quickly.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Our client is ideally seeking a senior private credit professional with 10+ years of experience and a background in direct lending and\/or distressed credit. across multiple jurisdictions.
