Partner with two or three engineering teams, Product, and Data Science to make the right technical trade-offs &#8211; especially the ones no single team can make alone.<\/li>\n<li>Quality of the whole. Reliability, performance, cost and security for your domain. When an incident touches your area you&#8217;re part of the postmortem.<\/li>\n<li>Engineering standards. You can point to platforms or services you designed whose decisions still hold up under load, change and time.<\/li>\n<li>Strong judgement on trade-offs. Cost vs. latency, build vs. buy, consistency vs. availability, velocity vs. debt &#8211; and you can explain your reasoning in a room of non-engineers.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable technical influence across teams, not just within one. RFCs, guilds, shared libraries, architecture forums &#8211; something that shows your reach.<\/li>\n<li>A mentoring habit. Named engineers whose careers moved because of your input. The Fund Accounting Manager will be an integral part of the business by leading client relationships with US-based funds and providing fund accounting support with the assistance of a high-performing offshore team. <\/p>\n<p>The Fund Accounting Manager needs to have an open-ended and closed-ended fund accounting background with at least 6+ years experience. Strong litigation management, coverage analysis, negotiation, and investigative skills are essential.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 8pt\">Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve moderate to highly complex casualty claims<\/li>\n<li>Analyze coverage, liability, damages, and overall claim exposure<\/li>\n<li>Conduct detailed investigations including policy review, witness interviews, medical analysis, and documentation review<\/li>\n<li>Manage represented and litigated bodily injury claims through resolution<\/li>\n<li>Review medical records, treatment history, billing documentation, and causation issues<\/li>\n<li>Establish reserves and develop claim resolution strategies<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reservation of rights letters, coverage position letters, disclaimers, and settlement communications<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate file documentation and proactive diary management<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with defense counsel, independent adjusters, engineers, experts, and other vendors<\/li>\n<li>Identify potential fraud indicators and submit SIU referrals when appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and training as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements: <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>10+ years of casualty claims handling experience<\/li>\n<li>Strong background handling litigated bodily injury and complex liability claims<\/li>\n<li>Experience with large loss, trucking, environmental, construction defect, or specialty casualty claims preferred<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of coverage analysis, liability evaluation, and exposure recognition<\/li>\n<li>Ability to independently manage a high-severity caseload in a remote environment<\/li>\n<li>Excellent negotiation, communication, organizational, and analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>State licensing\/certification where required<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree and industry designations preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/counter.adcourier.com\/Q2Fyc29uLkxpcHBhLjkyODEzLjExMzA5QG9saXZlcmphbWVzYXNzb2NpYXRlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Handle complex first- and third-party bodily injury and liability claims within a specialty casualty environment.
