The successful candidate will work closely with regional and global stakeholders while supporting the continued growth of the Asia business.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1019\" data-end=\"1239\">This is more than a traditional underwriting role. Interviewing all parties associated with the loss and gathering and analyzing all necessary investigative documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews, evaluates and negotiates bodily injury claims with unrepresented and represented insureds\/claimants including litigation management. Evaluating injury claims and property damage claims will be primary focus. Review medical records and bills to validate accuracy of services provided. Completes bodily injury evaluation summary including liability, damages, causation, diagnosis, treatment, reserves, and general damages.<\/li>\n<li>Provides accurate assessments and negotiates fair and efficient claims resolutions while managing costs. Settles losses according to the documented damage, the language of the policy of insurance, pertinent regulatory and statutory considerations and within granted authority.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares written communication, including but not limited to settlement letters, disclaimers of coverage and reservation of rights letters<\/li>\n<li>Maintains effective claim file documentation and diary system. Claims managed would include complex coverage and mass tort matters.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for conducting thorough investigations, critically assessing coverage and liability, and formulating strategic approaches to claim resolution.<\/li>\n<li>Analyzes and negotiates settlements within prescribed authority, and participates in arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials.<\/li>\n<li>Develops and implements strategic coverage decisions, determining outcomes, and formulating negotiation strategies for stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Oversees the issuance of payments within assigned authority limits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures all correspondence, reports, and settlement agreements are accurately documented and strategically managed.<\/li>\n<li>Serves as the technical expert on a product(s).<\/li>\n<li>Evaluates and makes recommendations to executive management on internal and external issues of strategic importance to a product(s).<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for achieving performance targets\/business results.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.<\/li>\n<li>Generally, a minimum of 15 years of experience in property and casualty claims handling. Completion of a professional designation preferred, such as Associate in Claims (AIC).<\/li>\n<li>Operates at the highest authority level on complex, high-impact assignments, possessing extensive technical knowledge and skills in both product and industry.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures all correspondence, reports, and settlement agreements are accurately documented and strategically managed.<\/li>\n<li>Serves as the technical expert on a product(s).<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures compliance with all legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Accountable for achieving performance targets\/business results.
