Assistant Technical Accounting Manager
Reporting to: International Technical Accounting Manager
Position Type: Permanent
Hybrid Working (3 days in the office, 2 working from home)

The Role;
- Support the Technical Accounting Manager in all month-end close duties including assisting with technical and cash queries.
- Ensure all technical entries are prepared by the team and are posted accurately and in a timely manner, highlighting and dealing with any potential issues.
- Review and sign-off of the monthly Income Statement and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assist preparation and review of all monthly and quarterly reporting requirements including checking figures, supporting the technical team and ensuring continual improvements with efficiencies and accuracies.
- Assist in the production of the month end close process.
The Person;
- Experience working in an insurance business
- Experience working with month end closes
- Qualified Accountant (5 years post qualification) - desirable
