KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop a solid understanding of technical system functionality and the part they play in day-to-day business operations
Work with stakeholders to understand their technology needs, collaborate with other IT leaders to prioritize and initiate application enhancements, identify internal or external support issues and gaps, and develop work arounds if necessary
Become the IT Product Owner of HR, Finance, and Claims applications as the key liaison between the business units and Technology for systems
Work with stakeholders to develop, maintain, and prioritize a backlog of software updates and change requests changes and work with software or services vendors to scope work, negotiate SOW's/MSA's, support implementations/releases, and manage vendor performance against SLA's
Monitor application usage and IT support activities to identify areas of improvement from both a process and technology perspective
Manage short-, medium-, and long-term maintenance, upgrades, and activities
Understand R&Q information security policies and standards and ensure the proper parties are engaged to evaluate application compliance
Assist with application administration and support as needed
Other responsibilities as directed

To maintain compliance with any applicable US, UK or International statutory or regulatory obligation as required by the role. This includes but not limited to obligations arising from:
▪ The prudent management of the business
▪ Placing due regard on the interests of customers
▪ Observing rules on Sanctions and financial crime
▪ Regulatory requirements and local licensing restrictions
▪ Promoting and follow the Group's whistleblowing procedures

▪ Promoting and providing guidance to reports in relation to the Group's Whistleblowing policies and procedures
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Proficient with a computer and Windows desktop OS software, particularly in Windows 10 and Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Basic understanding of office technology (Lan switches, Wi-Fi, IP Phone, etc)
Strong awareness and appreciation of information security best practices
Strong technical curiosity and willingness to learn new skills and technologies
Thorough knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service orientation
Excellent leadership skills with an ability to lead, train, motivate, empower, engage, and assist a team, delegate tasks, and problem-solve, especially with regards to change management processes and IT programs
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to think critically and analytically, solve problems, and take ownership of work
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively under strict deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required to sit for long periods of time
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
EXPERIENCE
7+ years' experience working in financial services, preferably Property and Casualty insurance
