Oliver James are currently working with a Savings and Investment business in their search for a Senior Capital Actuary (Manager grade).

This is a permanent position that sits in the Commercial Finance team. The role will have a close relationship with the Reporting, Investments and Risk teams.

The main responsibility of the role is to manage the balance sheet and capital management requirements for the business. This will be achieved through:

- Analysis of the shareholder balance sheet and reporting ,metrics

- Develop and monitor the frameworks associated with Capital Management, Asset Liability and Liquidity

- Provide Capital Optimisation solutions to the business

To be considered for this role you must have a commercial approach to your work and a keen interest in influencing and managing complex issues to a wide range of stakeholders. Experience in ALM or Financial Reporting would be beneficial.

This is a flexible working role and the expectation will be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
