What will be your main responsibilities?
- Develop the expertise to ensure an appropriate advisory mission to the company for regulatory aspects affecting investments and deposits, MiFID, conflicts of interest and market abuse
- Assume the role of point of contact for the team compliance
- Update the compliance procedures and in particular the policy for the prevention and management of conflicts of interest and the inducements policy
- Carry out daily monitoring of the compliance of investment-related activities: revision of marketing materials, sales pitches sales, training materials, product programs, control reports, satisfaction surveys, customer complaints, call monitoring, incentive programs, commercial procedures, …;
- Take care of the annual report to the FSMA
- Contribute to updating the Compliance Training Program
- Follow up on the market abuse monitoring tool and, if necessary, report suspicious transactions to the FSMA
- Perform and coordinate periodic compliance checks in the control portal in the areas mentioned
- Perform compliance control missions
- Identify and update compliance risks via compliance mapping
What does the perfect candidate look like?
- You have a good knowledge in the Compliance field
- You master French and English and you an also communicate in Dutch
- You have the ability to analyze and judge based on a rational and constructive approach
- You're autonomous, have a sense of organization and transparency as well as have a team spirit and willing to learn
