A leading regional life insurer has a newly created Director of Derivative Risk Management role based in their Hong Kong office.

This is a second line role working with and challenging the first line (investment and finance divisions) across the regional office C-Suite and their local business unit C-Suite leaders. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills will be needed as this leading life insurer builds out their new derivative risk management division with you at the helm.

Previous experience managing derivatives and big derivative programmes is essential. Wider experience working on dynamic hedging for variable annuity (VA) business would be useful. Knowledge of the life insurance field is highly advantageous.

Qualified actuaries with the above experience globally are encouraged to apply. Whilst Asia experience is preferred, this life insurer will relocate the right candidate if they possess the above skills and experience.
