Electronic/Firmware Engineer | Energy | Zurich | Hybrid Remote

This is an exciting opportunity to work for one a well established Swiss energy company based in Zurich. They have a fully in house platform (hardware & software) designed for white labelling to their customers needs. Their communications box directly communicates through power-lines of the customer's house to measure each individual's power consumption, this box will then be able to suggest cost saving methods.

In this role you will be able to work from home but there will be certain things you can only access through their Zurich lab. You will get to work on a range of cutting edge IoT devices across a range of greenfield projects so a successful candidate needs to be able to understand scalability and longevity of their work.

To be successful in this role, candidates must have experience with EDA tools, circuit design (analog & digital), MCU/MPU and be able to operate laboratory equipment like power calibrators. Firmware coding in C or C++ is a big plus for this role. In this role you will not be confined to one area of the product, engineers are expected to get stuck in and contribute to the full product life cycle. You will work as part of an agile team with bi-weekly sprints, this is a fast paced environment and highly collaborative so it is easier to get change going.

Required Skills:

• MCU/MPU, EDA Tools, PCB Design,
• English Spoken and Reading (C1)
• Power Management, RF/EMI mitigation

Nice To Have's:

• Programming skills in C or C++
• PLC (Power Line Communication), Wi-Fi, BLE, ISM RF
