Title: Enterprise Security Architect
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Base Salary Range: $180,000 - $220,000 + Bonus & 401K
We are partnered with a leading Financial Services organisation, who are seeking a talented Security Architect to play an instrumental part in assessing and defining Security strategy & architecture across the enterprise, within an ever-increasing cloud-first environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop security strategy plans and roadmaps based on sound enterprise architecture practices, capability model, in partnership with CISO and security organization
- Determine baseline security configuration standards for back end infrastructure and end user computing, including operating systems, network, identity and access management, etc.
- Develop standards and practices for data encryption and tokenization in the organization, based on the organization's data classification criteria
- Validate IT infrastructure and other reference architectures for security best practices and recommend changes to enhance security and reduce risks, where applicable
- Review security technologies, tools and services, and makes recommendations to the broader security team for their use, based on security, financial and operational metrics
- Stay abreast of emerging technology and security trends, and drive forward thinking in modernization of security architecture and technology stack.
Skills Needed:
- A minimum of 12 years of background in information technology, with at least 7 to 10 years within a Security & Architecture focused capacity.
- Experience in using architecture methodologies such as SABSA, TOGAF, etc.
- Direct, hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of managing security infrastructure - e.g., firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPSs), web application firewalls (WAFs), endpoint protection, SIEM and log management technology.
- CCSP or CCSK Certified would be desirable with working knowledge of Azure.
- Direct experience designing IAM technologies and services:
- Active Directory
- Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
- Amazon Web Service (AWS) IAM
- Proven experience in developing secure coding/software development standards, patterns and "shift left" best practices, to further enable DevSecOps practice within the group
