Provides leadership for Global Treasury as it relates to internal projects, cross-functional initiatives, functional annual planning, and staff development activities. Authoritative expert on collateral arrangements as it relates to new reinsurance transactions and corporate initiatives; develops and implements strategies to secure financial resources and services in support of the business's in-force and new business activities. Leads expansion of regional treasury capabilities in support of new business opportunities.
Oversee allocation of treasury resources among the firm
Reviews proposals, reinsurance agreements and participates in negotiations of trust and collateral arrangements
Directs completion of new governance processes
Leads and builds Treasury capabilities for the US region in support of operational needs
Assists in the recruitment and supervision of the global treasury team
Works with the Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer in the execution of capital market transactions
Assist with debt financing, re-financing's, credit negotiations and other operational risk functions within treasury
Requirements:
10 + year's experience in treasury within financial services
Minimum 5 + year's experience with international treasury or international financial management
3 year's of capital management experience
Expert with collateral principals and reinsurance collateral structures
Advanced project management and leadership skills
Experience with Peoplesoft or other accounting software application's
