Senior infrastructure & operation engineer - The job
The person is foreseen to take over a series of coordination, infrastructure design duties together with the existing engineers and deliver improvements during the projects design phases.
You will :
- Be responsible for the design, documentation and project support activities.
- Act as a translator between business & Enterprise Architecture requirements
- Support the IT Project Manager in driving the technical design and deriving the tasks' plan for the execution.
- Participate in the coordination of systems & network changes involving multiple international parties and managed service providers.
- Discuss changes to the infrastructure with the IT team to stay aligned with developers, business requirements and business objectives.
Senior infrastructure & operation engineer - The profile
You have :
- At least 5 years demonstrated experience in infrastructure team lead
- An exposure to infrastructure components such as Networking technologies, Containers & Kubernetes technologies, Servers & storage solution, Hybrid Cloud architecture (Azure, etc.) and VMware / Linux / Windows Server
- A fluent communication in English (oral and written). French and/or Dutch are an asset.
- A security-minded approach and are able to identify possible attack vectors
