My client is looking for a Head of Reserving to join their Actuarial Department. In this role you will be the lead actuarial reserving expert, providing support to the Chief Actuary and Finance Director in relation to their insurance portfolio. In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a range of internal relationships across all key departments. Some of the main responsibilities of the role include;

- Producing recommendations on the required level of reserves for all lines of business.

- Develop, embed and maintain a robust reserving process which meets Solvency 2 and IFRS 17 requirements.

- Manage the Reserving Team, coach and mentor direct reports

- Work with the Chief Actuary to prepare reserving reports as required

You must be a qualified actuary with strong reserving experience, in particular in relation to Motor and Home.
