Responsibility:
- Manage project time line and coordinate with IFRS 17 project team members, including PMO, Actuarial and IT
- Work on IFRS 17 user acceptance testing, results generation and analysis
- Report defects and deficiencies in IFRS 17 calculation engine and data inputs to all parties
- Work with the actuarial team to assess the reasonableness of IFRS 17 results under GMM, VFA and PAA
- Draft IFRS 17 technical accounting papers, design and build system logic for IFRS 17 accounting system, including the design of Chart of Accounts, journal entries flowcharts, and disclosure template.
- Participate in general ledger integration between IFRS 4 and IFRS 17
- Build the accounting logic outside the sub ledger to bridge the gap between IFRS 4 and IFRS 17 for cash transactions, such as claims, attributable expenses, premium and other expenses.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Business Administration, Statistics, Risk Management or Finance / Accounting
- Solid IFRS 17 knowledge and implementation experiences
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
- Experience in life insurance industry or sizeable financial institution
- At least and over 5 years relevant working experience
