Oliver James have been engaged by a leading Irish Life Insurer to assist with their search for an Internal Model Lead. The ideal candidate will reporting directly to the HOAF and would be responsible for managing a small PIM team as well as liaise with key clients and stakeholders. The business itself is in a significant period of growth so are offering excellent salary and career progression alongside this opportunity.

Requirements

• Fully qualified actuary with 5 years PQE
• Demonstrated experience in a similar internal model role
• Ability to lead a team of more junior actuaries
• 1st line validation experience essential
• Experience within a Life Insurance company would be desirable but not essential
• Ability to deliver high quality work in a pressurised environment
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage stakeholders
