For a big client of ours we are looking for a temporary support at an Investment & Portfolio Analytics department as an Investment & Portfolio Analyst!

Working as an Investment & Portfolio Analyst means creating insights and analysis related to performance and composition of the investment portfolio of Aegon NL. The results and insights of these analysis will be shared with senior management of Aegon NL as well as with the portfolio managers within the other department of the CIO Domain.
You will support projects linked to optimising processes, data management and the improvement/expansion of the existing reporting package.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide monthly and quarterly investment reporting to internal client
* Handle cash calls for investment/mortgage commitments
* Continuously seeking (small) process improvements
* Make sure process descriptions are up to date
Profile
Strong affinity with investments differentiates you from other candidates. You are able to perform financial (investment) analysis and are a quick learner in making logic connections.

Additionally:
* You have a completed or are studying for a Bachelor or master's degree
* Field of study: Econometrics, (Quantitative) Finance, Business Economics
* Proven experience in a similar function is a pre or can compensate for different field of study
* A strong interest in the field of investments and asset management
* You are a result driven team player
* You have a pro-active and constructive attitude
* You have solid Excel skills
* You have sound quantitative & analytical skills
* You possess good communication and presentation skills
