Oliver James is engaged with a leading life insurance firm to appoint a Modelling contractor for a 12 month assignment.

This is a newly create position within the function which will give the successful candidate broad exposure to the European Actuary function to implement developments along with giving exposure to IFRS 12 as this is moved into a BAU phase within the business.

• The role will centre around regular development in the internal models.
• liaising with the actuarial partners to develop and deploy successful model releases.
• Support internal; initiatives which will improve the modelling

The successful candidate will be an individual with strong actuarial modelling experience using relevant software and can work well with senior stakeholders in the business. Exposure to IFRS 17 is a distinct advantage to this positing.
