** PMO Lead - Insurance - Remote working/London - 12 month Contract **

A leading Insurance business based in the heart of the City of London, is looking for an experienced PMO Lead to come in and support the programme director with minimum guidance to cover the full spectrum of PMO duties with clear leadership. You will run the standard PMO governance of a large Programme: financial control, reporting, change control, planning, RAIDs management and support in the organisation and coordination of across Programme tasks/actions providing "bandwidth" to the Programme Director. You will lead the programme through internal audit and external assurance reviews, develop programme governance and implement a robust governance for the structuring, development, review, approval and filing of key Programme/Projects deliverables ensuring good quality and best practice is embedded throughout.

This Programme is also focused across MI and will require you to produce relevant and insightful MI on Programme performance and trends (e.g finances, earned value, etc) that can be used operationally.

The ideal candidate will need to be an experienced PMO lead who has experience working for one of the big 4 (EY, KPMG, Deloitte or PwC). You will need to be a highly structured and logical thinker, being able to plan and organise work coherently and Follow the lead but with ability to operate in autonomy and make judgement calls based on experience in a similar senior position. You will need strong coordination and organisational skills to lead in autonomy delegated tasks from the Programme Director and offer strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage and communicate with senior stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • Strong PMO Lead experience
  • Previously worked for either EY, Deloitte, KMPG or PwC
  • London Market or wider general insurance experience.
  • Strong Stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills
