About the team:
You will report to the Head of Actuarial, working closely with different departments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the end-to-end development and execution on new product ideas and pricing approach. This involves conducting feasibility study and detail financial analysis to ensure the ideas are financially sound and responsible to liaise on with different stakeholders including Actuarial, ALM and Risk both locally and regionally to get buy-in on the new ideas and drive the execution.
- Provide significant inputs to develop the long-term product strategy. This involves a deep understanding of the product implication when IFRS17 and HK RBC are effective, assess the implications of these major regulatory changes on product profit metrics.
- Responsible to develop solutions to improve the efficiency of the entire Product Solutions team by bring new technology or automation.
- Develop talents in the team on actuarial and technical knowledge to cope with increasing demand and changing business requirements.
Job Requirements:
- University graduate in Actuarial Science or related discipline
- Attained Fellowship of SOA/IFoA or equivalent
- At least 8 years of experience in actuarial pricing. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Manager/Manager.
- Excellent business acumen, with strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
