Oliver James is working with a very exciting pet insurtech that is looking to expand their sales department. As a Sales Retention Advisor you will be responsible for handling incoming calls from policy holders, probing to establish the root cause of customer concerns, evaluate customer needs and resolve with forward thinking solutions. Primary Responsibilities

• Field incoming calls from existing policyholders and deal with a range of customer needs
• Ensure a thorough understanding of pet insurance policies and provide customers with solutions
• Provide an exceptional level of customer service at all times to increase customer retention
• Handle a high volume of incoming calls and occasional outgoing calls
• Empathise with and provide guidance to potential policyholders
• Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high level of integrity

Required Skills

• Active P&C Sales License - ESSENTIAL
• 1+ years insurance sales experience - P&C or personal lines
• Must have insurance retention experience (experience working directly in a cancellation/retention team)
• Pet insurance knowledge beneficial but not essential
• Ability to highlight product features and benefits as they relate to individual customer needs
• Desire to communicate and influence prospects effectively, both orally and in writing
• Able to anticipate needs, innovate and flourish in a high volume, fast paced environment
• A love for animals and strong desire to help customers and their pets
• Excellent computer / systems skills

This insurer is offering an excellent hourly rate + up to $1,500 commission per month, along with a career path for the future. This is a full-time, permanent vacancy so we cannot consider candidates looking for short-term contracts. This role is fully remote from all Eastern or Central States.
