I'm currently working with a Lloyd's insurer client of mine that is looking for a Senior Accounting & Regulatory Policy Specialist to join a growing team. The role offers hybrid working amongst a wide range of benefits.

You would be responsible for the following;

Supporting The Head of Accounting and Regulatory Policy with the documentation of technical accounting and regulatory policies.

Provide ad-hoc technical accounting support to the reporting teams and ensure accurate
ledger entries including GAAP adjustments are performed.

Evaluate the effects of new technical accounting/ regulatory policy changes on current
processes and ensure impact is fully assessed and applied consistently across the statutory
accounts.

The key skills the client needs:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experienced gained in a similar role either within Industry or a technical team within practice
• Insurance knowledge is essential, across US GAAP, UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Working knowledge of SII and the PRA rulebook.
