Oliver James are currently partnered with a Life Insurer who are growing out their leadership team with the hire of a Senior Actuarial Manager.
This role will sit in the wider Financial Reporting team but will be responsible for the valuation of the Insurance business.
A large part of this role will be the communication of the results across the business. This will include on going analysis of how the balance sheet moves during a number of different scenarios.
This role will also have significant exposure / management of:
- Solvency II, IFRS17 and financial reporting metrics
- Presentation of results to business leaders
- Management of a team of qualified actuaries.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified actuary who wants to have a role that is a mix of technical actuarial work and relationship management. My client are looking for strong communicators with a commercial approach to their work. The business are currently looking at a number of different growth strategies and this role will play an important in supporting that market growth.
