Senior Business Analyst - Inside IR35
Location: London - Hybrid with WFH
Daily Rate: £850 - £950 p/day
I am currently working with a leading London based, Asset Manager that are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team ASAP.
This role sits within the Currency Product team, which supports a broad range of front office applications for the clients passive and dynamic Currency Hedging strategies, portfolio management and FX dealing.
Currency Hedging and Active Management are key components of this clients ability to offer complete investment solutions and you will help build an integrated investment platform to optimise workflows for Portfolio Managers, Quants and Dealers, as well as creating tools that are critical to the success of the platform.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:
- Structuring and communicating business objectives and problems within the team and with Product Owner, so that we can make decisions and discuss solutions effectively.
- Lead problem analysis and solution discovery with Product Owner and Development team across multiple work streams.
- Ensuring shared understanding of concepts and domain knowledge, finding answers to questions from the appropriate SMEs, if not within team.
- Work with the Product team and stakeholders to develop, detail and prioritise the Product backlog in the form of Epics, Features and Stories.
Knowledge, skills and behaviours required
- Strong domain knowledge in FX trading or at least experience with other OTC derivatives asset classes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management experience with the ability to effectively communicate at a level and depth appropriate to the audience.
- Ability to write great User Stories and develop effective User Story maps.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams using Scrum or Kanban.
- Someone who understands the difference between Product and Project management and who is happy dealing with imperfect information.
- Ability to apply suitable analytical approaches to problem discovery and solution delivery.
- Experience or understanding of UX Research techniques and principles of "dual-track" agile.
