Our Swiss banking client are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join on an initial 2 year contract to support the the implementation of their future workplace which will be managed from the M365 cloud. Your role as a project manager will be to oversee the implementation of O365, migrate the current environment (Skype, Exchange, Sharepoint) and support the uptake of automation.
Responsibilities
- Manage fast-paced IT projects with high technical complexity and exposure to the business
- Plan, structure and drive project deliverables with multiple stakeholders in Operations, the business and external vendors and ensure delivery in scope, quality, time and budget
- Coordinate all aspects of a project like planning and resources, requirements gathering, technical design, risk and financial management and reporting
- Define critical to quality factors and ensure IT and non-IT deliverables on time
- Provide functional leadership and coaching to project team members
- Deliver all required milestones and documentations according to the bank's project methodology
- Facilitate project execution, addressing impediments, managing dependencies and synergies
- Communicate status updates and major milestones to all involved parties (project team, sponsors, management)
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of delivering strategic IT projects/programs using waterfall / agile / hybrid methodology
- Experience in Workplace projects (M365) is a must, experience in cloud technology is a plus
- Experience in the Swiss Economic Environment is desired
- Open minded, approachable with strong interpersonal and emphatic skills
- Analytical mind with ability to grasp complex concepts and implement practical solutions
- Proven ability to overcome challenges and successfully deliver change
- Ability to manage project teams and interact with senior level stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
