QA Lead

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to join our growing technology team in Dublin. This role is responsible for leading the Quality Assurance function across multiple aviation-related software products and services, ensuring the delivery of reliable, secure, and high-quality solutions that support critical business and operational functions.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical QA expertise with proven people leadership skills, managing a team of approximately five QA professionals located both locally and internationally. This position offers a hybrid working model, combining office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Quality Assurance Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately five QA Engineers across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Define and implement QA strategies, standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and career development planning for team members.
  • Manage team capacity, workload planning, and resource allocation.

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading QA teams, including direct people management responsibilities.
  • Proven experience managing a team of approximately five people, either locally, remotely, or across international locations.
  • Strong background in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing test strategies and test plans.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and automated testing practices.
  • Strong understanding of defect management and quality metrics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
