Compliance Monitoring Analyst
Oliver James are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Compliance Monitoring Analyst to join a growing and thriving compliance function with a London Market Insurance firm. In this role you will work closely with the Senior Monitoring Manager to deliver the compliance monitoring plan, and make a true impact.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support in creating and delivering the compliance monitoring plan.
- Lead or support thematic reviews to identify and assess compliance risks.
- Conduct fact-finds and desk-based monitoring against regulatory and internal requirements.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Track and monitor actions to ensure timely completion.
- Stay up to date with regulatory changes and industry best practice.
- Contribute to the wider compliance agenda.
Key Skills:
- Compliance experience within insurance is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, research and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage a varied workload and competing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Knowledge of regulatory landscapes, ideally Lloyd’s.
